The biggest attraction for me at the House & Garden Show is always the homegrown fair. It seems to be getting better every year as more creatives come out of their rabbit holes to show Durban what they can do. This year’s theme is ‘”Re-cycle, re-use, recreate!” and sees some newcomers added to the mix.
These newcomers include;
Paper Republic – functional paper products and installations for retail, as well as home use and special events. Everything from 3D wall decals to lanterns and blossoms will be available.
Spoilt Rotten – quirky, handmade jewellery and noodle doodle scarves
Blu Betty Outdoor Furniture – locally made authentic leather shoes for men and women. Hand crafted and high quality.
Elle Kay Fabrics – a brand new business that specialises in hand-printed fabrics on 100% cotton. Their unique prints are perfect for redecorating or reviving something old at home
The Homegrown fair is always so inspiring because there is just so much creativity and such brilliant ideas, along with great design and that local feel.
