On this day in fashion history

In 2002 Karl Lagerfeld branded the work of long-term rival Yves Saint Laurent as depressing. He continued to say that people buy a dress to be happy,  not to know about the dramas of a crying alcoholic.

Seems there’s some serious claws in the fashion world..
