On this day in fashion history

In 2010, designers Viktor and Rolf followed the footsteps of Giorgio Armani and Alexander McQueen by designing outfits for Lady Gaga to wear in a music video. The designers made a dark grey leopard jersey jumpsuit with a studded bodice decorated with metal chains. The design featured in the video for Telephone, the duet with Beyonce. The idea, as requested by Lady Gaga was to design a prisoners outfit. The outcome is what Viktor and Rolf imagined she would wear if she were incarcerated.
