UK Vogue has launched their first ever online fashion week which will be happening on the blog for 24 hours a day over five full days (05- 09 December)
Hundreds of retailers have joined in the initiative and have offered exclusive and limited edition collections as well as never-seen-before content.
Besides this being totally awesome for fashion lovers, it is for a good cause because for every purchase you can choose which charity you would like to benefit.
The show went live yesterday and saw Florence Welch kicking it off, David Gandy gave away some of his secrets, Chanel gave some makeup tips and Christopher Kane launched an online dress competition.
Head on over to the Vogue UK blog and check out todays schedule which inclues some giveaways, competitions and sneak peeks at designs.
Some of the big names participating include:
Alexander McQueen who will be revealing a new collection of holiday gifts every day.
Amazon.co.uk will be offering products picked exclusively for VOGUE by a selection of fashion experts. The products will include clothing, footwear, books, fashion related DVD’s and beauty products. Vogue readers will get a 10% discount on the products.
Chanel has invited renowned makeup artist Kay Montano to share tips
Christian Louboutin who will make a big announcement online about a collaboration with Vogue UK
Those are just a few, the list is endless and I am glad to see so many people onboard to end 2011 off with a fashion bang as well as donate to charity.
This is all happening online right now so hurry and go see what’s happening in ONLINE FASHION WEEK
