Veronica & Betty are Back

MAC-ArchiesGirls

I’m pretty sure everyone in my generation will remember the Archie comic, I personally loved it and it will always be in my heart as one of my fondest memories of childhood.

My inner child is jumping for joy right now, since MAC have once again come up with a genius new limited edition range, the Archie girls.

This range, in time for valentines day is all about who will he/you choose?

Betty and Veronica are very different personalities, so which will you choose? Betty or Veronica?

For a better idea of the colours and what’s on offer, visit  the Superficial Girls blog, she has some awesome pics of the products.

Current Obsession

Ok so I neither love nor hate Justin Bieber – I have found myself shaking and baking to some of his songs without realising it.

Say what you want about the guy – the perfume under his name is amazing, so amazing that as soon as I tried it, I knew it was going to be my new obsession and that I had to have it.

Someday is playful, fresh yet flirty and anything but ordinary…It takes off with a splash of fruity mandarin, pear and wild berries, continues with fresh notes of jasmine and creamy florals and ends with warm hints of vanilla and soft musk.

It is the perfect combination for me and I can’t wait to get my hands on a bottle

I suppose releasing this perfume hasn’t helped his case very much, you know with all the talk that he’s gay and whatever.

Either way I love the smell and enjoy looking at the bottle which is a plus.

It retails at Foschini for R595 (100ml) and R395 (30ml)

Have you smelt it? What do you think of it?

Foschini favorites

The Foschini group has some gorgeous stuff in store at the moment…

Time to get our winter shop on…

It just so happens that I REALLY want all three of these items and I would totally wear them together

This bag is on top of my list – I had a picture in my head of a bag I want and this is it!

I’m a sucker for detail and that heart just screams Kerry, and I quite like the colour and the black edges and buttons

I’ve mentioned before how into wedges I am and these are beyond words.

That blazer is a real steal at only R200!

I want!

Practical and pretty – Patek Phillipe

That ladies, is a Patek Phillipe watch and not only is it pretty but is quite a little gadget too.

This ladies chronograph is a true Grand Complication that projects feminine elegance despite the extreme micromechanical complexity of its inner life.

Not just any watch – this beauty is a split-seconds chronograph that not only measures the duration of an event but also allows lap and reference times to be stopped.

And yes, those are diamonds, set by hand by master jewellers.

Due to the complexity and exclusivity of this timepiece, a purchase can only be made through a formal application process. The potential buyer will need to show a history and affinity with the Patek Philippe brand before being allowed to order this unique timepiece, and the current waiting period for manufacture is between 1 and 2 years.

Patek Philippe timepieces are exclusively available through The Watch and Jewellery Gallery in Southern Africa, which is located at Shop 33, Nelson Mandela Square, Sandton, Johannesburg. For more information please contact the store on 011-7842587 or visit http://www.patek.com/

Now that is something to lust because not only is it sparkly and shiny but not anyone can just have it!

One word: Zando

Ok confession time – I have never purchased an item of clothing or shoes online…I am quite a regular Kalahari shopper but it’s quite different when it comes to clothing so I chose to stay away HOWEVER after discovering Zando.co.za due to the giveaway I mentioned on a previous post, I am hooked…Such gorgeous stuff for reasonable prices plus free delivery

So basically I don’t even have to leave the house for a shoe fix.

Zando offers you the most comprehensive international and local footwear and fashion brands for sale online in South Africa.

Forgive me for living in the stone ages, but this is exciting and in case there are any others like me, I am introducing you and hopefully getting you just as excited!!

Here a few of the things on my list :)

1. Ice Wedges R490

2. Nicole Lee bag R599

3. Camel Wedges R359 (BARGAIN)

4. Light scarf R140

Ok so the bag would be a bit of a splurge (never spend that much) but I love it!

Have you bought from Zando before? what was the experience like? Do share :)

Heaven in the bath tub

I received some bath goodies as a Christmas present, I haven’t been much of a bath salts and bubbles kind of girl until I tried it!

On the very first day of 2012 I had the best bath I have ever had in my whole 22 years on this earth – it was relaxing and luxurious and felt heavenly. It took me a while to get out but when I did my skin felt soft and smooth, like the best kind of silk.

I am now a firm believer in crystals, salts and foams! The first thing I did this morning was check the Woolies site to see what they have on offer (I’m not sure what my brand of stuff is, so the next best thing is probably Woolies)

I am now wanting these products, like now!

Cashmere milk soak???? I’m sure this is what heavens baths have in them, with a vanilla scent I am sure I can’t go wrong with investing in this treasure…

Honeysuckle Bath salts

Vanilla and brown sugar foam bath (recomended by one of my lovelies on Twitter) Sounds delish…

Have you tried any of these? or do you have other suggetions of places/ products?
