3. My button up denim shirt from Mr P – Best investment ever!

4. The festive season feeling that is kicking in – this is my favorite time of year

5. Writing – I’m writing more frequently now and I’m still loving every minute of it

6. Fizzers – Childhood all over again

7. The Hills – I’m a bit behind I know and as much as I love it, I know I could do so much better with my time ;)

Current Obsessions

Notebooks – Ever since I was a little girl I have had this love for notebooks – there is just something so exciting about buying a blank notebook and filling it up with anything you want. I would buy tons and never understood why but now I know why – I’m a writer and a blank piece of paper is one thing I’ll always need with me at all times. I have recently rediscovered this love for notebooks and am on the search for some unique ones.

Hats – I had always admired hats from a distance, never felt comfortable enough to wear them, now everywhere I go I look for hats. My collection has grown from zero to five in a short while.

What are your current obsessions?

The perfect accessory

In winter, I like to change things up – instead of necklaces I use in summer I try and go for scarves, collars and bow ties. Makes winter fun and different :)

I am in love with these bow ties from Bow Peep, local online store run by an incredibly talented young lady.

I know! Cute… But the excitement doesn’t end there, the tote bags…

This is the tash tote, but judging from her tweets, she has new designs on the way…

The & tote.

Go check out the online store here, to see all the goodies – stationary, alice bands and much more…

Practical and pretty – Patek Phillipe

That ladies, is a Patek Phillipe watch and not only is it pretty but is quite a little gadget too.

This ladies chronograph is a true Grand Complication that projects feminine elegance despite the extreme micromechanical complexity of its inner life.

Not just any watch – this beauty is a split-seconds chronograph that not only measures the duration of an event but also allows lap and reference times to be stopped.

And yes, those are diamonds, set by hand by master jewellers.

Due to the complexity and exclusivity of this timepiece, a purchase can only be made through a formal application process. The potential buyer will need to show a history and affinity with the Patek Philippe brand before being allowed to order this unique timepiece, and the current waiting period for manufacture is between 1 and 2 years.

Patek Philippe timepieces are exclusively available through The Watch and Jewellery Gallery in Southern Africa, which is located at Shop 33, Nelson Mandela Square, Sandton, Johannesburg. For more information please contact the store on 011-7842587 or visit http://www.patek.com/

Now that is something to lust because not only is it sparkly and shiny but not anyone can just have it!

Watch this show!!!

My latest series obsession has got to be Jane by Design, think Devil Wears Prada but a series :)

A case of mistaken identity has a dateless high school outsider living a double life as a twenty-something career girl in the fashion world. Her boss is the devil, her style is fantastic and there’s lots of fashion..

It started on Mnet Series last Friday (06/04/12) at 7.30pm so you still have time to start watching and get in on the fashion action.
