2002, Naomi Campbell made it into the top ten list of the Most Irritating People in Britain. The supermodel was named, along with the likes of Geri Halliwell, Victoria Beckham, Vanessa Feltz, Amanda Holden and Cherie Blair, on a list compiled by the Daily Mirror to find the most reviled celebrity in the country. …2003, Giorgio Armani and Valentino spoke out about the plethora of naked flesh that had become the norm for modern catwalk shows. “Nowadays you need a bare bottom even if you’re just trying to launch a handbag,” Armani said. Similarly, Valentino commented: “Fashion is drifting towards a type of woman who looks like a soft-porn star. I don’t know where they think they’re going to sell some of these clothes.”

In 2010, mini skirts were banned from the Italian town of Castellammare di Stabilia, after its Mayor, Luigi Bobbio, complained of falling levels of decency. Bobbio won a vote preventing women from wearing “very short” items of clothing. Women who refused to adhere to the new rule were set to face a fine of £265.

In 2010 Christian Louboutin revealed his secret hobby was trapeze. “There’s something about moving through space, being lifted through the air,” he said. “I never wanted to lift weights, and dance is too choreographed, but the fact that this looks so effortless, and it’s so hard – what it gives to people is beauty. But it’s also a private thing; it’s not competitive, it’s not for anyone else. It gets into your head.” He has been practising trapeze for the past 20 years, having been inspired by the 1987 Wim Wenders film Wings of Desire.

You do your thing Christian, just keep designing the shoes!

Red hot Ashley covers Flare

And we have another Ashley Greene cover and this one is amazing!

Flare is a canadian fashion magazine which explains Ashley looking red hot in a Marchesa ensemble.

This cover is one of the best I have seen in a while, the dress is gorgeous and she looks gorgeous, breathtaking even.

Obviously she discusses Breaking Dawn inside the mag and here is a snipit of what she had to say

On staying in touch with the cast: “We’ll do dinners and game nights. This whole experience was really special to a lot of us, and we certainly don’t want to lose that family aspect just because we’re not filming.”

On embracing the single life: “I’m not dating anyone right now, which is nice. I’m choosing to take it as a really great opportunity to focus on myself and figure out what’s next in my career.”

On filming Bella and Edward’s wedding scenes: “Watching your friends get married, onscreen or off, is a very interesting, delicate thing.”

2008, Lauren Hutton became the poster girl for the Olsen twins’ fashion line. The 64-year-old model-turned-actress had always been one of their muses, Mary-Kate and Ashley revealed, and agreed to be the face of their upcoming campaign. “She’s just a wise woman and she’s a traveller and she’s obviously a style icon,” said Mary-Kate, while Ashley added: “She’s older and she’s beautiful, and that is sexy to us.”

Lesson learnt: always carry a pen

Trust me at the most unexpected, random times, the need for a pen will arise, if you don’t have one you are doomed because no one around you will have one either.

To save yourself the hassle of running around asking random/snobby/weird people for a pen, or sprinting to nearest shop to borrow/buy a pen, rather just keep one at all times.

I normally like to give you my scenario which lead to a big lesson learnt but in this case I have SO many scenarios and yes I have run around like a chicken without a head in search for a pen.

Put a pen in your bag right now and leave it there :)

Wishing you all a wonderful, exciting and productive week!

2010, Michael Kors revealed that he was bullied throughout his school days. “I heard every name called to me, and you know what, it wasn’t fun,” Kors said. “Pansy, fag, fruit – name it, I heard it. I wasn’t the kid on the baseball team. I wasn’t the kid on the football team. I sat sketching in my room…and my idea of a fun afternoon was shopping. And you know what? You feel different; you don’t fit in. It’s hard to realise that when you’re 11 years old and being kicked down the stairs at school,” he continued. “This is not just about gay kids, it’s about all kids who aren’t status quo.”
