Spring Inspiration

Today we bid farewell to August and tomorrow we say HELLO to spring! I’m soooo excited for Spring, it’s probably the best season! In a few hours I can ditch the dark, dull colours and strut the bright pretties.

To show my excitment for the season I looked for some inspiration, I am so gonna rock my sunnies and sandals :)

So by now everyone has heard on the radio or news who the winners were, but you also have to see the red carpet fashion.

So Kim K looked gorgeous as always, Nicki Minaj was as outrageous as Lady Gaga dressed as her alter ego, what happened to Jessie J’s leg? Yes maybe I have been under a rock for a while, Adele looks pretty um plain, Katy Perry and Russell Brand totally rock, Selena Gomez is a beauty and Rebecca Black?? She’s there cause she did look kinda nice and maybe her and Katy are big friends now??? Britneys outfit did absolutely nothing for her and Kelly Rowland looks nice with straight hair but not a huge fan of that dress

My opinion: No one’s outfit really wowed me, quite a boring display of fashion by the rich and famous.

P.S – if you’ve been under a rock as well, Beyonce is pregnant and that announcement was apparently the highlight of the VMA’s. Yes, go back and look at the picture of her – you can see a baby bump :)

Friday Favorite

So I took the plunge and bought an Essence eyeshadow (I’ve only ever bought nail polish and goodies) and it’s so awesome that it’s my Friday favorite

It’s a quad eyeshadow with a gel eyeliner included!

It’s called “steel me” from the Metallics range which is gorgeous.

What really excited me after I got home was this…

The application guide – these are always SO helpful (I’m not a pro at eyeshadow)

This is the end result ( once again I am not a pro but after some practice I am going to perfect a smokey eye :) yayness!

Poor quality due to blackberries not having the best camera – it really does look better in real life

So I’m pretty excited about getting this right and trying other colours – which hopefully have application guides ;) from the Essence range (available from Clicks)

IF I had…

A walk in cupboard I would be the happiest girl alive. What’s not to love about a walk in cupboard? Space to move, space for lotsa clothes, shoes and accesories and it would be like my own little space.

The thought of being able to walk into a cupboard just gets my heart racing! A nicely designed colourful one would be even better!

This one is incredibly modern and pretty, pleaaaaase can I have one in my home one day..

So stylish – not a huge fan of red though but in another colour this would be amazing!

If I have one of these when I grow up I will be living the dream for sure :)
