The picture speaks for itself – If I won a GHD not only would I smile when my hair is straight but it will also put the colour back into my face
description of my ideal hair
Straight and sleek locks that bring out the green eyed monster called jealousy in everyone who sees it. The kind of hair that you see in adverts.
My description of the hair I do have
wavy/will not do what I want it to do ever! Looks good after the hairdresser but has lost that look when I wake up the very next day. Considering both parents have curly, wavy hair there was no ways I could have dodged the hair gene.
I have considered shaving it a couple times hoping that it would grow back straight but then realised I may just look a little worse with shaved hair because I am a girl and I have kinda big ears (blush) and my hair – curly, straight, wavy, wet or dry does cover them. I opted to rather keep the hair I don’t like in order to hide the ears I can’t handle.
Conclusion
If I had a GHD I would have the hair I dream of, I wouldn’t spend loads of money on getting myhair styled at a salon – that money could be spent on shoes or something else exciting and most importantly – I will never even consider such crazy options such as going bald or wearing beanies in summer…in Durban.
